Testimonial - Jet
Caroline Jarvis

This is my testimonial for my pet bereavement communication with our beautiful boy, Jet.
Losing Jet at the age of 26 came as a huge shock to us. Just six weeks before he passed, he had won his veteran class and people were commenting on how incredible he looked for his age. We simply weren’t prepared to lose him so suddenly.
At first there was shock, then anger and guilt, wondering whether there was anything more we could have done. The grief that followed left a huge hole in our lives and, even 18 months later, we still felt unable to fully move forward. We desperately wanted the chance to connect with Jet one last time.
After hearing about Julie through a friend, we arranged a communication session and waited excitedly for the opportunity to hear from our boy again.
From the very beginning, Julie shared details that made us feel it truly was Jet communicating. She described his loving but cheeky personality perfectly, including how difficult he could be to catch in the field. She spoke about his love of showing, how proud he was of his trot and canter, and how he secretly enjoyed all the attention he received, despite sometimes preferring the comfort of home.
What amazed us most were the details Julie could never have known. She repeatedly mentioned 4pm as being significant. This was incredibly emotional for us, as 4pm was the time Jet’s little mum finished school each day and went straight to see him. Julie also said that Jet was always around the young girl in the photograph, which brought great comfort as their bond was so special.
She also mentioned that we still hadn’t sorted through Jet’s tack and rugs and relayed his question about why we hadn’t done so yet. Hearing this made us smile because it was absolutely true. Julie also described Jet being with a coloured mare with a magnificent tail. We instantly knew this was Ruby, Jet’s beloved girlfriend, who had passed away only a few months before him. Ruby was famous for her beautiful, flowing tail, and the thought of them being together again brought us enormous comfort.
Perhaps the most healing message of all was hearing that Jet’s passing was quick and pain free, and that we had made the right decision when the time came. The guilt we had carried for so long began to lift, replaced by a sense of peace we had been searching for since losing him.
The communication gave us comfort, reassurance and a feeling of connection that we hadn’t felt since losing Jet. It reminded us of the wonderful life he had, how deeply he was loved, and that the bonds we share with our animals never truly disappear. We will always miss our beautiful boy, but thanks to Julie, we now carry those memories with far more peace in our hearts.
We are incredibly grateful for the experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Julie to anyone grieving the loss of a beloved animal companion.
