How it all began…

The one question I am asked time and time again is “When did you first realise you could talk with Animals?” Here’s the answer…

As a child, my dream was to help animals.  Not just dogs, cats and horses – ALL animals.

I grew up watching Black Beauty, The White Horses, Folly Foot and my true inspiration was a lady called Joy Adams and the Lioness called Elsa from the TV programme Born Free.  I also read all the James Herriot books.

When I was 7 years old I can clearly recall talking to the birds through my bedroom window as they landed close by to catch worms.  To my surprise, I heard voices back, telling me they had families and how they all needed feeding.

The neighbours cats passed through and when I spoke to them, again I would hear back.  The told me how they liked the new flavour food they had tried, who their best friend was – to me it was normal.  I was only a young child after all.

As time went by, I started seeing animals after they had passed to the spirit world, but again it didn’t frighten me. However, my mum questioned me one day after listening at my bedroom door and asked who was I talking to – it certainly was not my barbie doll!

She looked horrified when I told her, as she knew that the animal I said I was talking to had passed.

Nearly Giving Up

The negativity I received from then on forced me to believe I was not normal and it was wrongful, sadly this made me shut down.

In the early 2000’s, I saw an advert for my favourite coloured pony who was looking for a new home.  I was studying his photos, admiring him  and then I heard a telepathic voice telling me how sad he was as he knew his owner wanted to re-home him and he didn’t want to go.

Somehow, I plucked up the courage, took a deep breath and contacted the owner.  I was just honest and told her what he had told me.

After relaying what I had been told, I was fully expecting the call to be disconnected.  However Shona paused and asked me if I would “talk” to her other pony, Ki.  I agreed and Shona emailed a head shot to me.
Ki told me that a group of ponies had been rounded up (him included) and how they had been rushed onto a trailer and the door closed too quickly, trapping his lovely tail. This resulted in him losing it and being left with a small stump.  He was grateful to Shona for showing him love again and giving him a second chance.

Shona confirmed this to be true. As it happened, a group of ponies were rescued, rounded up and loaded very quickly, including Ki, which is how he lost his tail.  She then encouraged me to get out there and start helping others and that’s how this wonderful journey began.

The Present Day

It hasn’t been easy. Not everyone believes, which of course is fine.  We all have our opinions as individuals and I would never try to change them.

I have been privileged to communicate with so many different animals, in person, or through a photograph.

My dream of helping a wild lion became reality, when I received a Facebook message, asking if I could talk to wild animals. That’s a story for my next blog post. 🥰

By the way, Charlie stayed with Shona. How could I offer him a home knowing he didn’t want to leave her? My reputation for being honest and relaying back exactly what THEY tell me and not what you want to hear is why so many people talk about and recommend me.

Thank you for reading until next time.

Look after yourselves, and all the animals too x
